I think that maybe I've come to understand that reading fanfiction means that I must never make any assumptions, not the way that I do when reading literature or popular fiction. For those of you who aren't in the area, today has been Marriage Equality Day in Washington ( #MEdayWA on Twitter, if you use it). The first same-sex marriage licenses following Prop 74's victory in November were available December 6th.
