misugirl, Pointnopoint, and I went to a pretty rocking party last night. The highlight being the burning of a wicker man (see snazzy new icon). We all learned an important lesson in community: "It takes a village to burn a man."

I got the Mark Green yard sign for my art project. (The Republican Party of Wisconsin HQ is several blocks from my office, but close enough to walk on a nice day.) So, the M&Ms I purchased are stuck in the snack machine. There is a sign on the machine to call me if they fall. Will a random employee (or maybe a painter) forgo a free bag of M&Ms to do the right thing?

Update: one of the systems folks called me and gave me my M&Ms. This proves that people are innately good.

We got Nazis!The counter-demonstration runs from 1:00 this Saturday until they shut up and go home. The farmer's market is closing early, which I think ruins a perfectly good excuse for discounts on squishy tomatoes.

Greg Weisman told me to tell you that Gargoyles the TV series is now out on DVD and they have a new comic book out. He seemed very excited by it, not entirely due to his being the guy in charge of these ventures. The comic book is decent enough.
