o_o; I have a Sempron running at 1.5 Ghz. Though, in my defense my computer cost $200. };>

coolermaster cm-stacker? prolly the same case as mine.
theres a couple benifits. opterons have some realy nifty features when running in multiple processor setups. and a dual core would've cost me a bit more than a pair of single cores.

i'm not running xp pro, nor will i. i already have server 2k3 installed. if you haven't messed with it, and get a chance to, go ahead. runs about as stable as my 2k installations, about as quickly, and has some of the nicer things out of xp, without bogging down or trying to practicaly wipe yer ass for ya.
and yah, the dual cores are expensive. my processors were 225 each, the dual core versions were about 1000 each. hopefully they'll come down in price though, and i'll be able to pick up a pair someday.
and yah, thats the same case. i wish i had a second drive bay for it, my motherboard supports 8 sata drives, and i plan on getting a couple at least. and i don't have the crossflow fan either. my duals run at a decent temp, so its fine.
one of the reasons i got the dual opterons is for the improved memory setup they have. they have insane memory bandwidth.

*warm hugs* Great to see you back, and I'm sure all the heavy work has done wonders for your strength and stamina, as well as supplying all the toys you got.
