Well, as predicted, the news came down yesterday which I should have heard at the end of October. I am/ was first choice for the last remaining Administrator post in Devon after the savage cuts. I'm very sorry to hear you'll be losing your job. Your manager's attitude to the job-share idea is ridiculous and is a sad reminder that when the going gets tough, the crap often get even crapper. I do hope you manage to find a less ghastly job situation soon!

No, I'm afraid it's a bit difficult as when Mrs Lyle lost her job she also lost our house and had to move in with her BF. So there's not really anywhere for me to stay!
