I've been thinking about friends a lot lately. Not so much about current friendships, but the people I considered friends before I embarked on the college scene. I imagine this is the result of discovering old elementary school chums on Facebook.

Wow. Powerful stuff.

I can relate. While mine is having lost the begining of an adult, and now middle aged, Mother/Daughter relationship with my Mom. No stories about raising kids, no sage advice, no quriky 'as you get older' warnings of what our bodies do, no shared cups of coffee... and I've been mad a few times. She 'chose' insanity... manic high/low... instead.

But we still have them. Even when we're mad... they left us the good memories too.
