Holy Crap!
THere has been an attack on parliament, and a large area of downtown is now cordoned off. At this time, one of the shooters was killed, but at least one other conspirator.,
For my out of town friends and family, i am well out of downtown, about a 25 minute drive to parliament hill.

Milestone!
Hi everyone! As of this am I am officially at rehab at st. Vincent's. Things are going well, though slower than I'd like. It will be good to do more intense physio than they could do at the civic.
So far, the hospital and staff are quite nice.
Anyway, I'd love visitors. My room # is 4210-2. I don't know my therapy schedule yet, but it won't be on ( Read more... ) -
Bad luck in Kingston

mentisiterinvit has had another flare-up, apparently of the "usual" kind, on our way back home from Toronto. At present she's in the Kingston General Hospital, having been (technically) admitted, but waiting in the Emergency/Observation ward until a bed becomes available.
