 The bright lights and sudden sharp pain as he was forced to take in air told him that he had started a new life again. Warm hands held him close. He felt tears that weren't his own on his face. He looked up and found the source. Two smiling teary-eyed faces. He new at that moment that in this life he would be loved sweetly and honestly.

 He felt his last breath leave him as his eyelids fluttered to a close.
The last and only thing on his mind was:

"Will I remember your eyes?"
