This is wonderful, Mer. I found myself actually slowing down as I read to make it last longer. This is the House and Wilson I know and love -- their voices so distinct. The sadness here is palpable, and yet they go on. Also a nice touch that the kid who kicked Michael is named Mathers. Heh.

This was lovely. How very Wilson to still feel guilty. What a sad family.

There's definitely a lot of sadness, but I tink Wilson would say there was a lot of love as well.
Heh - I was down on the plaza for awhile, but had to leave well before the game was over. My riotous days are well in the past...

BTW, I went to see the tall ships in Philly during the Bicentennial. (I can't remember if it was on the 4th or not.) I had a great time: the ships were awesome, and I flirted with a Romanian sailor, which was a lot of fun.

I don't think I've ever seen tall ships live. But sailors in town is always a good thing :)

House had an empathy for frightened children that Wilson tried not to examine too closely. Wilson understood the power and danger of secrets.
This empathy and respect between them used to be canon, and has now gone lost.
As for tall ships, I've seen this one live. I think it was among those who traveled to New York for the Bicentennial.

The tall ships are pretty amazing. It must have been quite the parade.
