Winter wonderland

As I mentioned earlier it is snowing in Portland. Not a common occurence. And no one really expected it. It is always fun to watch Portlanders deal with snow since we get it so rarely and barely anybody knows what to do. Many stores and companies closed for the day and it has pretty much been declared a universal snow day. Annika is amazed because

It looks lovely out there. Isn't it funny how much people enjoy a change of routine? And I love the way snow seems to brighten everything up for a little while.

The temperature just plummeted again here, and we're supposed to get some form or another of precipitation all afternoon tomorrow. It would be lovely if it snowed.
