Wait, you mean you are walking?!

My CA and I walked into downtown Kelowna and to the lake. We weren't sure how long it takes to get there so we asked at the front desk and some of our agents. Everybody told us it was only 5-10 minutes. Then we mentioned that we were walking and suddenly we get a blank/incredulous stare. "You mean you are walking? No. It's a really long walk."

Funny. It always amuses me how much it shocks people that I'll walk a couple miles to get somewhere. Sad, isn't it, what an automobile-reliant society we are?
