I'm sorry that the boy has not called back. That is very lame of him. Glad that you're doing fairly well otherwise, though. Yay for winter and books and DVDs and textiles and crosswords and all of life's other small joys.
Northwesterners are snobs. I find much amusement in that fact.

Slightly disappointing but life goes on. It isn't that big of a deal.
We are just as snobby as the rest of the country but we tend not to admit it. And think their is also a sense of self-rightousness involved in it.

Um, wow, you really do sound rather resigned in a not bad way to no answer from the phone call. And I have no clue about the details, but that still sounds like courage to me.
Are you generally snobby? You in the plural Oregonian sense, of course. I really must visit Oregon sometime and see for myself.
