Crackberry

I just finished reading an op-ed piece in the San Jose Mercury News about a woman who gave up her Blackberry device. I love that my parents' house doesn't have cell phone reception. It is a bit disconcerting at first, but it's kind of relaxing, too, knowing that no one can get ahold of me if I don't want them to.

Not having the Internet can be the same way at times. Lost limb, yes, but ye gods, the freedom!
