Screwed up
I promise that I will post a summary of the last month since I last posted but today different thought. I know I have lost weight recently because several of my skirts and dresses don't fit anymore. Yet I am finding myself struggling with self image issues. I wonder if I will get over it? Be comfortable in my own skin? -

OK, so maybe don't shoot me, but at least make this congestion go away. This was the weekend when I wanted to go to DC for the ALA conference, go to AK to see Ethan and Jed, and go to CA to see Pua. What the hell!! Would someone please explain this to me? All of the sudden in the last couple of weeks guys are just coming out of the woodwork. Some new, some I have known for awhile. Only one of them I am interested in dating (maybe) and one I am not even sure I want to talk to again. Why can't they just come in intervals instead of overwhelming ( Read more... ) -

I think I have found a solution to the world's problems. Comfy clothes (sweat pants and favorite hoody), a nice cup of tea, knitting, and a good movie. LIfe is good.
Have I mentioned how much I don't like to drive anymore. Country driving I can handle and it can even fun but this whole city and freeway driving makes me tense. I can't handle a full ( Read more... ) -

Roller coaster
So they like me, they really, really like me. I got a call today from the management company that I turned in an application with yesterday. They have accepted my application and I now have a place to move into. It is a cute little two bedroom duplex built in the 1940s located in a quiet little neighborhood near two schools. Wait, you mean you are walking?!
My CA and I walked into downtown Kelowna and to the lake. We weren't sure how long it takes to get there so we asked at the front desk and some of our agents. Everybody told us it was only 5-10 minutes. Then we mentioned that we were walking and suddenly we get a blank/incredulous stare. "You mean you are walking? No. It's a really long walk." Simple joy
