Why is it on days that I really want to and should get up at a decent hour, I never do. Only for work and church am I able to get up in time, and I am ashamed to say that I am often a few minutes late for church. I cannot believe how much has happened since I wrote last. Rain and stories
So I have to say that this trip is turning out much better than I expected or feared. Although the captain is not someone I wanted to fly with again, I am really enjoying my fellow FA, Elizabeth, and my FO, Bill. Down with colds!
For those of you keeping track I have a cold once again. And Airborne works just as well as all the other stuff, essentially doesn't. Why am I always getting sick, I wash my hands, I take my drugs. Grrr. Oh well, life goes on. One day I won't be sick every other week. At least I have a couple of days off in order to get better before heading back ( Read more... ) -
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!
I had my hair cut today. I have been thinking about doing it for a long time and just finally decided to have it done since I had to go to a salon to buy some hair gel anyway. I wanted it to be just above the collar (maybe half an inch or so) and layered around the face to frame my face. It is now above my chin and not layered. It feels very short ( Read more... ) -
Home Sweet Home
I am finding myself longing for my own home. I want to live in a place with light, not just a tiny little window at ground height that barely lets any light in. Needless to say I am looking for a new place to live. But I am not sure ho that is going to work yet, financially or otherwise. Prayers would be greatly appreciated. -

I had forgotten how much simple pleasure can be derived from a pleasant long, brisk walk, good food, and good company. When I was in Austria I learned it was a Polish custom to say thank you to your companions for the conversation at the end of a meal. Today I had one of those meals.

Super excited. Today I received my schedule for the next bid and it's all trips!! Five weeks of not calling into crew scheduling to see what my plans are for the next day. To get to play with my line by adding and dropping trips and seeing how that all works. To know ahead of time what I will be doing. Ahhh! I am so dang excited yet slightly ( Read more... ) -
Winter wonderland
As I mentioned earlier it is snowing in Portland. Not a common occurence. And no one really expected it. It is always fun to watch Portlanders deal with snow since we get it so rarely and barely anybody knows what to do. It's snowing in Portland for the second time in a week! What's up with that!? There was a guy skiiing down my street earlier this morning. I'm off to go and enjoy it and play with my camera. I'll see wht I can do about posting pictures later.
