My daughter - now ten - has a newly discovered love for Eastenders. She did have questions when we began watching together and one of her first was 'Are those two men in love?'. I said yes and she shrugged and went back to watching. (She's equally as disgusted by all the snogging on the show.) But then, we've always told her that love is love.

Chryed, for the reasons you've outlined, is a non-issue for me (my mother in law would have more problem with this scene than she had with the shooting... but is okay with adultery in het couples or for him to see the violence, it seems, which is also against her faith)

There's also the fact that Rhi might want a lot more of the gory details that Ianto is willing to divulge when there is a kid in the room. My brother and I have shared stuff that we would NEVER want to talk about in 'mixed company'.
