I've been away from LJ for a while. Not too long, but long enough to feel out of touch and not with it with my lovely LJ friends. With a few exceptions, I've not been as excited about the Cure since Disentigration, actually. As for DM...I am pretty hyped about this one, although I hope that it's a little less like SOFAD and more like Violator. (I'd heard that it will be "between the two.") I miss the days of Black Celebration and Music For the Masses when EVERY SINGLE SONG was positively amazing!!

All of us are effing excited to hear the new album!! I can't wait! i just couldn't sit still & work when I read about the coming singles & all that ;o)

Hey, yeah, new DM album yada yada yada ;o)

Actually, I want you to advise me on The Cure; I've got their Greatest Hits album and really love it and have downloaded some random other songs that aren't on there (Jumping Someone Else's Train, Plastic Passion and Play For Today, notably) and love those two. Soooo.... if I'm going to buy my first Cure "proper" album, what would you recommend?
