Things are pretty good weather got cold in a hurry, though, which is making me a little blah.

I yet live! I fell off the face of the internet everywhere except Facebook for a while, but I think of my L friends often and then thought "self, what is your problem, see who is still there!"

Life has been busy, which some of the reason I hardly ever post (but still lurk, so).

The highlights include a promotion that came with a bit more money and a fuckton more stress, and a safari in southern Africa, during which I was mock-charged by an elephant and had the canoe I was traveling in lifted out of the water by a hippo. Trufax.

Ooh, a safari! In South Africa? Or another country? That would be cool. I live in terror of sub-tropical insects, though, were there bugs?

I'm all good. I went to Las Vegas for the first time with a bunch of friends, it was cool! Not sure what travels 2016 will bring... (I'm all outta vacation days this year, lol.)

Ha that feels like everyone’s relationship with Tumblr. I feel like it’s a big step back for fandom - it’s driven by content-creation, not discussion, and the platform feels so counter-intuitive. I miss the glory days of LJ.

September is just September. That's the way of the teaching life. :D Still doing the same old with my deaf flock, the littlest of whom is just finding his way to a new family so that's a whole thing. I love it; it's just ridiculously busy.

Brynn and I had the delightful fortune of watching z and dugrival finding their way to each other a couple of BPs ago. They were pretty good friends before that and it was absolutely adorable seeing it become more.

BP's in April. It'll be the weekend after Easter, I think. TBH I'd go over and see my Brynn anyway, but why not have a big party with a ton of people we like? :D

Can you believe it's over 7 years since Toronto? My little niece who was just born when I came over is in Junior School now. I still occasionally Billy walk down the streets because why not? What a wonderful space in time we had. <3

MERES! *tacklhug* It feels like it’s been forever since we talked. I do see your posts on FB but I’m never on there, so yes. I have missed much.

How’s your mom? Brother? Stepdad? I hope your bro is doing okay. I’m in Calgary now, working for a courier company and contemplating going back to school. (Turns out the nonprofit industry is NOT a stable work environment). I was hoping my new company would send me out to T.dot area for training but it looks like that’s a no-go; I want to plan a trip out anyway to see you and Bill. (Remember Bill? He got stomach cancer :-(. But he’s doing much better now).

Okay, that is all the updates from my end. Single again, working a job that pays well enough but it’s my passion, and living in CowTown. And missing you and fandom and all of these lovely people so much.
