Thank you! :) And I'm sure the yarn would be great for a throw - it's tough and quite soft at the same time and has a nice weight to it... Also, because it's so scrappy it's very forgiving of small mistakes (this is important for me because I usually knit while doing something else, which means that I might make mistakes in a pattern...).
It's not particularly cheap, though. I ordered it from a UK website and it tends to be a bit more expensive over here, and you could use much larger needles to knit a throw, but still, you'd need quite a lot of yarn...
Thank you! :) And as for the knitting - yay! Go for it!! :)
I find it a very relaxing hobby, and unlike with sewing you can knit while doing something else, which is essential for me (I probably wouldn't have the patience to finish any project otherwise). I usually knit while I watch TV, talk on the phone, or chat with friends, all those things which do not require your hands - after you have the basics down it doesn't take much concentration.

Once I'm finished with this baby blanket, I need to make a new throw for the sofa. Hmm, that yarn looks very tempting...

The cheapest in the US I have seen is the Wool Peddler (http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall04/PATTunbiased.html) if you are interested. :)
