Arthur/Merlin, Gen. Merlin has a child. By normal means he got a girl pregnant, either in Ealdor or since he moved to Camelot. Arthur, Gwen, and Morgana didn't know and he never had reason or occasion to tell them. He wasn't intentionally hiding it, it just never came up, he'd always been involved in his child's life as much as the mother allowed. Now for some reason Merlin has full-time care of his son or daughter and must work around his new life. ~683 words
kinkme_merlin: Emotional Honesty (1-2/?)
Arthur/Gwen/Merlin/Morgana (friendship). Morgana is in tough place. She wants to be queen and take the thrown of Camelot but she is finding it harder and harder to really go through with it and kill her friends (even Merlin). Morgause has had enough waffling and demands that Morgana get them out of the way so Morgana improvises; she turns them into cats. Cats can't rule a kingdom, do magic or stop her plans so it's pretty much perfect. So queen Morgana keeps three kittens in her room but finds herself getting close with the people she once cared about (even Merlin). Cue emotionally confused Morgana. Bonus points for the cats sometimes almost acting like they're aware of the situation and other times just being cats. ~2493 words
kinkme_merlin: The Air Holds Whispers (7-8/?)
Merlin happens to end up in Camelot, a ghost village (he doesn't know that though). Through his eyes the people of Camelot are pretty much alive (that's because his magic allows him to see ghosts, but he doesn't know that either). He soon falls in love with Arthur, but the odd thing about him is that he seems to return Merlin's feelings and yet he does his best to keep a distance between them. At some point they actually do kiss, but Arthur doesn't take it very well. He tells Merlin that they can't be together, because none of this is real. Merlin, who really doesn't understand a thing, lets Arthur lead him to a tomb that lies deep beneath the castle, Arthur's tomb... ~835 words

RPF, Bradley/Colin. The producers/writers/people in charge finally notice that Arthur and Gwen don't have as much chemistry as they should. (bless them both, though â¥) Someone decides that since Bradley and Colin have fantastic chemistry, the solution is to put Colin across from Bradley in each scene and film Gwen's part separately and put them together later. Optional: something goes wrong in post-production and someone forgets to put Angel's part in instead of Colin's and it airs. ~778 Words

Uther is the cold, no-nonsense CEO of a multibillion dollar company who, in a genuine moment of humanity, takes in Merlin, a foster kid runaway whoâs been sleeping in the alley behind Utherâs companyâs building. Merlin, though technically settled in, is still overwhelmed by the Pendragon mansion and spends most of his time trying to make himself as small a burden as possible â going to his new school, doing his schoolwork, and helping the maids around the house. He doesnât want to mess up a good thing and is grateful that Uther is mostly too busy to notice him and change his mind. Arthur, whoâs living at home during university (or perhaps on a break from school?), does notice Merlin, though... ~1359 words

There was once a ficlet I wrote for ras_elased's kiss meme. You can find the kiss meme HERE. Then I wrote what came before and after; that is, Arthur Pendragon and Merlin Emrys are actors who get cast in director's Jonathan Drake new film, a war drama that is being marketed as Pearl Harbor meets Brokeback. The only problem is that while they play lovers on screen, with plenty of steamy scenes serving as proof of their fictional feelings, in reality they dislike each other. ~34,568 words

Arthur/Merlin, Merlin/Other. Arthur and Merlin are captured by bandits, enemy knights, etc. Merlin is raped and Arthur is forced to watch. Arthur comforts Merlin after. Bonus points if Arthur and Merlin had been on the brink of getting together before the capture and now must deal with the traumatic fallout before being able to consummate their new relationship. (bonus-bonus points for Merlin being in denial about the whole event and claiming he's fine, it was nothing, etc until Arthur forces him to face the attack and Merlin breaks down) ~874 words

Whether they be the suave, manipulative and charming type or the rugged, leather-wearing dangerous type, Merlin and Gwen are all about the baddies. As an experiment, Morgana decides to set them both up with 'nice' dates. Enter Arthur, Morgana's step-brother. ~2008 words
