from foreigners here, they make japan sound rather rosey - that they treat foreigners better.... but from what I read from you makes me think otherwise

Ah, it's not all bad, you all just hear my rantings and not the small, nice things that make living here fun. I'm also a bit more sensitive to the whole human/foreigner rights thing after having majored in Diplomacy&World Affairs.
