Well, here, look at it this way: unless you lied MAJORLY on your CV or during an interview, they know who they're hiring. And if they still then decided that you would be fine for the job, then who are you to question them? ;)
You'll probably be fine, just don't go in thinking you can't do it, or you'll psych yourself out to the point that you won't able to do it even if you otherwise could.
Get this: the girl at Brook Street, Heidi, interviewed and chose on their behalf! They haven't seen my CV OR interviewed me! Now, I am not sugesting Heidi is incapable, but she doesn't know what they need! Thank God this is a temp to perm position so no worries if I pull out...no awkward questions, like since everytime someone asked me why I left NatWest I've said because I didn't feel like I was getting the most out of it...I'm turning into a compulsive liar - my entire family and all their friends still think I am employed by NatWest! But, then again, I have no interest in telling them until I have a permanent contract sorted out...Thank God my entire family live abroad... BUT YAY JOB! :D
WOW! That sounds absolutely fantastic. I knew you could do it. And it does sound to me like they're looking to train you up eventually, which you are also completely capable of. Damn good work, hon. That sounds like an excellent job. Tell me how your first day goes :^D
