Hi.
We saw Elf Power yesterday, in Greenville, which is totally shocking.  It's the first thing approaching a show from that scene that has even happened in Greenville since we've lived here, so far as we know.  On the awesome side, we had a babysitter for both kids and had as good a time as we possibly could.  The bands were great.  On the minus ( Read more... )

I can relate to wanting to be friends/hang out with the people you are supposed to be teaching/telling what to do. This is how I feel with my employees at work. The bad part is when they become so comfortable with you that they think they don't need to do any work because you both understand that the work is boring. But I have to force them to do it anyway. Yeah, I tried that... I mean, I don't want to work with high school kids... Too much of a difference there for me... they really AREN'T adults yet, ya know?

And I tried to get a degree in Counseling, but it didn't work out, and I actually think there was probably a reason for that...

Woah, I recently read that Elf Power played in Arcata which, by itself, is awesome. What is even cooler is that they played at my friends' tiny house. Alright, here's the coolest part - the cops were called (understandably), and Elf Power paid the ticket!
