For those wondering what it's like in New York after Hurricane Sandy's arrival, we got a helluva lot of storm surge. Lots of flooding, including the FDR Drive as far north as 34th Street, Battery Park and lots of NJ and Long Island. Power was out below 39th Street, and transformers were exploding.
