I got the keys to my apartment this morning and went see what it looked like

I went over last night; the phone line is working, but the DSL isn't yet.

I also went out and bought a bed last night, and the place has running water. So there you go: water, shelter, a place to sleep, and soon internet. Yep, I guess that's a start. Even if I don't have a kitchen table, I'll have a little table for one of my computers.
