I love going to movies.  Seeing a movie in a theatre is a radically different experience from seeing one at home.

Before I moved out, I even liked going to movies by myself.

Now, I don't.  If I'm going to spend the money, I want to share the time with someone.  I think before I moved out, it was a means of escape.

I was just coming up from the garage to my apartment, and I noticed an open trailer full of furniture.  Somebody moving in or out, can't tell which.

A few weeks ago I went back to see Lynn, my spiritual adviser. I last talked to Lynn in April, a few weeks before I told K that I was going to leave. At that time, Lynn suggested that I needed to work on feeling and knowing that God is the center of my life. Other people can't do that for me. I was married on August 1st, 1981.  MTV launched that day, and Princess Di and Charles were married three days before.  It was always an easy day to remember: 8/1/81.

The day is kind of .... empty. Not as in a hole, but as in perhaps a clearing - an empty space where something used to be.

All three kids are over here tonight. I’ve been thinking mostly about middle and youngest child, because they will be doing this for years to come, but forgot that oldest child would be over here too. I spent some time with my two younger children this afternoon.  Middle boy, 15, and youngest girl, 13.  We went out looking for something for them to sleep on.
