i refused to join another social network after joining orkut 3 years or so ago... somehow, last weekend, kuang convinced me to join facebook.  for the past 3 days i've been spending entirely too much time on it (as expected).  it's annoying to feel the need to keep the fb browser window open, refreshing it as frequently as i check ( Read more... )

Whenever I go out of town, I forget how much I've grown to love the weather in Tucson.  I'm not quite sure when this came about, but I can't recall the last time I didn't smile and go ahhhhhhhhh after getting hit with the first wave of dry heat right after a return flight.  It's like a great big bear hug.

Weather aside, I love SF.

Thanks to Danielle, I tried cold brewing coffee last night.

1. Throw a bunch of ground coffee into a bowl/jar/whatever with water.  (4:1, H2O:coffee)
2. Cover and let it sit on the counter over night.
3. Strain.  (I strained once with a metal filter and then again with a coffee filter.  You can go straight to the coffee filter, but I used much coffee ( Read more... )
