I always looked forward to this day.  Working together has been one of the biggest (if not the biggest) strains on our relationship.  For those that don't know, we didn't just work in the same company, or even just the same department... we worked on the same freaking sub-project.  Some entire work days were spent side-by-side

Oh boy do I hear you loud and clear on the relationship front! There was even one (thankfully short) period of time in which I had to sign off on the then-brand-new boyfriend's timecard ... we both hated that ...

It's definitely tough to get used to working without the SO, but I've found that it's kind of nice to finally have work friends that aren't also relationship friends. Perhaps you will too. :)
