So how was this year for everyone in terms of metal goodness? I enjoyed some great releases from Amon Amarth, To-Mera, The Sword, Axamenta and Suffocation. I also found some truly amazing shit this year I'd never heard before, like Windir, Vader, Ghoul, Asmegin, Moonsorrow, Metal Church, and Destroyer 666. Daylight Dies, Goatwhore, and Enslaved's releases where enjoyable.

I also discovered Pan-Thy-Monium this year, and I can't say that has been a bad experience for me.
