If I remember correctly, they can crush bone and easily tear things and people apart with their mandibles, their sting is poisonous and exceedingly painful, especially were one to have a reaction to it that would lead to swelling and the like. More than anything, though, they swarm. Everywhere. They rip things apart not out of skill, but sheer number.

They can. Lezard has a stock of anti-venom, and I doubt the specimen that he obtained it from offered it willingly.
