Cheers for the link, I'll check some of them out. I did have a search myself, but all I found was natural sounding voices.
As for XP, I don't trust it as far as I can throw it. The only machine I have with XP is a stand alone machine not on my network and doesn't have the music program on it that I want to put the sample into. If all else fails I'll give it a try, but I think I may have found another solution as a friend at work thinks he's got a vocoder that can get the sort of effect I'm after. If I get the track sorted, I'll post a link to it here.

WinXP also has something built in for the job. I think it's under the Accessibility Options in Control Panel or thereabouts.
