since i saw the secret machines play at the showbox a little bit ago, i decided i liked them a lot. memphis show- not so hot. somehow, this one was amazing. also, i took a promo copy of their new cd from work when it came out a while back, and it's totally killer

I'm starting to think that every show played anywhere but Memphis is better than an identical show played IN Memphis.

words to the wise: minnie's talks a big game, but their omelettes are not all they're cracked up to be. i would go for something more basic like a slice of pie, and pray to god that you get a decent server who will keep the coffee coming and piping hot.
