Inkheart
I finished inkheart. It really felt like it ended. I'm not sure where the next two books could lead. I did really enjoy it. Not too juvenile. It seems like a good series to fill the time between finishing the last WoT book and the next. I can't wait!

Decisions
I feel a little better about my decision not to go to dragon con. It will mean a four day weekend with my family. Something I could really use. Don't get me wrong; if someone offered me a free hotel room, I would be there in a heartbeat.

depression
Sudden onset depression is a strange feeling. Last night I was crying on the way home from work because I couldn't find a room for Dragon Con. This morning it seems silly. Father's Day
Nat and Uli rented me a Harley for father's day. A Heritage Softail. I rode with a friend up to Suches and then over to the 'sham, and then down to Buford to have dinner with my parents, and then followed Nat and Uli home. I am sunburned, and tired, but it was the best gift I've ever recieved. -
My Car

It's never quite as it seems
I am trying to sell off the dead volvo. Nat said that If I wanted to, I could bring it back here and part it out. I'm not sure if I want to do that or not. It might be fun, it would certianly be messy, it might be more profitable, it would look trashy. Pros and cons that I cannot weigh out ( Read more... ) -
Too much good has happened
Today my car overheated, and instead of calling a tow truck like a sane person, I pushed it all the way to work. Where it promptly died. The final death, I think.
Now the meegar sum that was going toward a new bike will instead go toward more reliable transportation. -

A customer came in the store the other day and during the idle chatter that is the retail buisness, I mentioned that had never seen a Hockey game. So nothing is happening. We are down a volvo, because we traded in the one we got from the Dovers on Nat' s new Versa. The one we took to Arizona is still running alright, but I want a new(er) car ( Read more... )
