i've decided on definitely getting a new tattoo. it's going to be a painting/sketch by Frida Kahlo from her personal journal. it's very symbolic because Frida was a very sick and depressed person and drawing was theraputic to her. and i'm going to put this on my arm where i used to cut which was a therapy to me but this will be a healthier

art is a great way to hid the scars- both the physical and emotional type. I so love Frida Kahlo, when i find a big scanner and digitalize my art, i will show you some of my drawings inspired by her for my art class last semester. I hope that this will be a constant reminder to you to stay as strong and fun-loving as Frida was. She is a great role model for all the hardships she was able to endure while still keeping her sense of humor and convictions. Maybe you should not drink or smoke as much as she did throughout that life, and may you find a more loving partner than her elephant.
