So this morning I had a bee up my butt and decided to try on dresses from long gone Alpha Psi balls....I need to accept that I am no longer as little as I used to be. I'm getting better about it, but it's still hard, especially when you assume stuff will fit and they don't ( Read more... )

My dress arrived! For those not in the wedding loop (and for those who care, which means...no one other than myself...lol), dresses usually take four months to come in after you've spent the 1000 man hours trying on every dress within six states (and feeling unbelievably ugly in every one of them...). So many changes...

The biggest news is that I'm getting married. How....big...that word still sounds. We've set the date for August 10, 2005 and I've already got the dress...it'll be a beach wedding, but dammit, a girl has to have her priorities. It's the first day of school. It's strange how that particular day remains stressful no matter how old you are or which side of the desk you sit. The first week is always rough, and trying to get everything done by Thursday isn't helping. Nor do I think it'll happen.
