I hate going back and reading things I wrote in the past. It's embarassing. In the last year I've learned, experienced and changed and looking back on the past-me is like looking to the back of one's closet and finding the overalls you used to wear with big, plastic necklaces. I've now retired this site.

Blonde is out. All I want is platinum blonde - not some shitty in between phase where I have my dark, dark hair with a bunch of blonde highlights and look like Every Girl circa last year. The last 4 months have been crazy... I travelled to Ottawa and Florida, moved to Toronto, moved IN Toronto and have been learning/seeing so much. I love Toronto. Last weekend was the Pixies concert... a week ago I would have said "the Pixies and Weezer concert" but really Weezer were nothing more than an opener for the amazing Pixies. The bad sound system, disinterested crowd and fairly disappointing performance from Weezer didn't matter once the Pixies performed their amazing set. Good music, great ( Read more... )

I'm so glad I discovered Jeff Buckley's music; in the last couple of years it's been there through some of my best, worst and most important times. I hope wherever you go when you die that there are guitars and that he's playing tonight.
