You've got to love actors who relish roles like that. Not sure that there are many that are so eager today who are all the rough sort, like Mitchum was. Irons is about the closest that I can think of. Maybe Rickman? Otherwise it would be mostly character actors.

Did you see where they're making the new Guitar Hero with vocal and drum compatibility? Someone is losing share to Rockband, it seems. They're also going to have Hendrix songs on it. "The Wind Cries Mary" is the one that I remember off the top of my head.
