In case anyone still hasn't heard, the Lakota have just declared independence from the United States, and if all goes according to plan they will be a separate nation, potentially followed by a dozen other American Indian tribes! -

All You Need Is Love: The Beatles as Culture Heroes
The other night Sophie and I went to go see the new movie "Across the Universe," a love story set in the turbulence of the 60s and narrated through the songs of the Beatles. I finally nerved myself up to talk to Dr. Clothey in person, which if anything will allow me to finally get some sleep and stop imagining what I might say to him.
