Hey, this is Tina. Jacob's surgery went well. They took out his gallbladder in about an hour and 10 minutes. There were no complications. The doctor did show me some pictures of it (really cool btw) it was pure white instead of green like it should be. So he is in bed resting and trying to sleep off everything. I'll keep ya'll up dated. -

So, I finished the bassoon. It is on eBay, with audio files you can listen to - so go listen to me play for basically the first time in five years!

So I have a life
The return to a home based hobby....
So, I've decided to try restoring bassoons that are near death. I might as well use my Master's degree for something .
To that end, I went ahead and purchased for a ridiculously cheap price two old, pretty much falling apart bassoons. One has arrived alraedy, the other is on route.
