Thank you! That last scene was definitely pretty tense, and I really liked writing Jack and Owen together. In the show, Owen's animosity is held back by his respect for Jack, and Jack by his maturity and knowledge of Owen's past, but here... Their tempers get along like a house on fire and it's fantastic.

Thanks for commenting! The next part will be up tomorrow, around the same time!

I love the Jack/Ianto interaction. That kiss was hot! The scene at the end was so intense and emotional, it was perfect. And I love the reason Ianto hires Gwen, to keep Jack ocuppied. Although, I bet the interest in her would be as fleeting as the interest in Suzie. Can't wait for more!!

I think that Ianto's plan to hire Gwen as a distraction for Jack won't go over very well, for several reasons. We'll see what happens with that in the next part.

Thanks for reading, and commenting--I'm really glad that the emotions were so strong for you in this part. I'd hoped that they would be, despite the fast pacing of the story thus-far.

Oh, this is an interesting twist.

Can't wait to see how Gwen reacts to Ianto being the boss.

Yeah, Ianto's Torchwood is a lot colder and more pragmatic than Jack's is. We'll see how Gwen deals with this in the next chapter.

Thanks for reading, and for taking the time to comment!
