Wow, that last scene was intense! Owen is as ever a prat, and I couldn't help smiling at BAMF!Ianto!

I'm liking the twist about Jack being the TW1 loyalist and Ianto wanting to help the aliens. I wonder what Ianto knows about Gray...

Dude, how did you know that I was just composing a sequel to this story. Literally. I just spent twenty minutes in the shower running through it in my mind, and I come back to my computer and BAM. It's like you have ESPN or something. *g*

Also, all comments are appreciated regardless of timing. Ianto is sort of a BAMF here, which I love, and I also adore the way that this Jack and Owen clash. The fact that Jack is now on the same level as Owen means he doesn't have a reason to hold back, which is just... fun.

I also greatly enjoy the change to Jack's characterization. It's like S1 of DW Jack, but with the added bonus of being anthrocentric. And Ianto, who is a sight colder than canon!Jack but still determined to help those he can. This whole AU is just unbelievably fun to write. This sequel may actually happen.

Showers are one of my best places for running through stories! Showers, toilets, runs, and my bed when I'm trying to fall asleep are my best places for fleshing out story ideas.

It's not much of a sequel, really, it's just a cover of the events of Countrycide, but I really want to start playing around with the faults of this 'verse now that I don't have to steer everything toward the reveal of Gray. There's just so many delicious conflicts I can create... *g*
