I absolutely love this verse. So glad Jack realized what Ianto was doing to the coffee. Ianto needs someone to care about him even if he himself doesn't. Really, really hope you cont. with this verse. Love it.

Thank you! It's definitely good for Ianto that Jack managed to slip the retcon--both because it means that Jack's probably going to confront him about it (in true Jack style), and also because it means that they'l be able to work through some more of their issues. Poor Ianto really just needs a hug, doesn't he?

Plans for the sequel are in the making! Thanks for reading!

I was so happy to see this. I love your take on these characters although I freely admit that I was hoping Jack and Ianto had hopped into bed by now:)

Hahahaha! That's why I had them tumble into bed in The Stars, because fuck knows these two aren't going to enter into some sort of relationship when they're being even halfway levelheaded. Maybe some angry sex, though, if Jack chooses to confront Ianto?

Thanks for reading, and for taking the time to comment!

Ianto really won't stop at anything to protect his secrets! Oh the dilemma for Jack, pretend he doesn't remember or let Ianto know his retconning failed. Can't wait for more!!

Well, as he says at the end, retconning his team was really something he did in a fit of panic--and because it's Ianto, you can get a sense of his sheer terror just by the fact that he's so completely detached during the scenes where he's retconning his team. Poor baby.

I have a definite sequel planned for this, where we see just what Jack does with this new information... *g*
