I just had the most unbelievably magnificent day.

This weekend is the Prelude to Invasion Re-enactment at the D-Day Memorial, and I'm there in period clothes to "boost morale" of the division of soldiers there at the "camp"---they bring all their period tents and equipment and they actually stay there

All I can say, darling, is that it is a good job I am 56 and happily married to MY Tom, otherwise I would be GREEN with envy. He sounds delicious! I'm glad you had such a lovely time. I can recommend men called Tom:)

I have been meaning to tell you for the longest time how impressed I was with your TV appearance. You were so composed, poised and professional . . . unlike the young woman interviewing you, who tripped over her own words. I thought you had real screen 'presence' and if I had been asked who was the TV pro I would have said you, not the other gal!
