I'm a pathetic loser - I look for attention from students because at least then I feel needed and liked. I don't have many friends my age. It's finally happened
I am set for life!

In additional happy news, I saw Alex today! He surprised me with a visit and he gave me the biggest, most affectionate hug. :)

Today was the last day for Alex :( He's probably going to be homeschooled for the remainder of the year. I hope that he is allowed back to school next year. At least I spent a few minutes talking to him today, telling him that he better not lose touch with me and what a wonderful kid he is, and of course how much I'm going to miss him. So I decided that this year I was going to attempt to cook real, full MEALS every once in awhile instead of just cooking "dinner" 5 nights a week. This plan went into effect this weekend, after noticing how much meat we had in the freezer and thinking of my many different options ( Read more... )

This year, I resolve to:

- stop overanalyzing everything
- continue to improve my health
- enjoy what I've been given and appreciate life more
- accept the way things are and understand that I cannot change everything

kickin it back old school - I had so much fun tonight hanging out with the crew. I definitely need to chill with them more often, especially when I can stay out late and just chill like old times.

And why is it that some feelings never fade with time?
