And you're welcome, of course! ^o^ Though to be honest, I'm still not sure if Giselle's manager is the one who draws the doujinshi or just the one that answers e-mails... ^^;

That is actually really awesome of you to contact the site owners for permission to translate the doujin. A lot of artists are really against people reproducing their art on other sites, and many of my favorite Ryvius artists have that banner, the one that reads something like "It is forbidden to copy fanarts on to another site" or something. So even though I've always wanted to, I never did translations like these (also my Japanese is terrible from not practicing).

It's really nice of you to ask them, and really nice of Giselle to respond favorably!

And super thanks for translating this particular comic! I remember reading it and thinking "All right, I knew most of the words without looking them up but I still have no idea what's going on!" It's clearer now.

I was very glad when Giselle gave me permission too! ♥

She also told me that the reason why many doujinshika have that banner is that there have been a lot of problems of the sort in the Japanese fandom, so they're simply trying to protect themselves. I had noticed the banner myself, of course - but I naively thought that since in a sense I was 'adding' something to the doujinshi by translating it, it wouldn't count as 'copying'... so I just credited the site and went ahead. ^^;

Anyway, I'm going to ask from now on. Though I'm a little fearful, to be honest. I hope I won't be denied permission by the other managers... ;_;

And I'm glad the translation cleared it up a little for you! ^__^ *hugs* Though I'm afraid this might be one of my worse translations - either that, or the doujinshi was honestly this confusing even in the original! XDDD

But as far as I know - though it DOES seem absurd - the Kokuyo uniform we usually see in the manga is the WINTER one. ^o^ I'm almost afraid to think how much skin the summer one would show...! XDD
