Hubby caught me taking the leftover bones and burnt bits from some ribs we'd gotten and putting them in with some soaked dried pinto beans. They added a nice layer of favor to the beans and gave me a nice way to use them rather than to simply toss them into the trash.
So about once every 6 weeks or so, we will get ribs and then next day there will be cooked dried beans seasoned with the rib leftovers.
