Yesturday I went to the XL center in Hartford, CT and saw Obama give a 40+ minute speech to the 17,000 + people who were gathered. It was energizing, moving and substantive. It's exciting to have the opportunity to vote today for a candidate I actually care about ( Read more... )

OK, so I didn’t watch the muppets much growing up (I have yet to see Muppet Treasure Island or the Christmas Carol or those classic favorites) but I just saw this and can’t stop cracking up. So on this summer Friday, may you have many smiles! It's worth the 2 minutes!

Rigel and I are going to be making a flight in early August. This means I need some kind of ID for him proving that he exists. This made me realize we had yet to receive is Social security card so I made some calls.
