You guys look cute! What is your dress made of? I've been eyeing those sheer dresses at the graceful lady site for a while now. I am facinated by the idea of something sheer in that time period - I always think, what were the social implications?

It bugs me so much when people don't dress up for events - but what can you do, eh? I don't get it - how can you not like dressing up??

My dress is made of cotton voile. I found some really thin voile for a great price at the LA fashion district. I originally bought some white then after I got home I was kicking myself for not getting more. So I called the shop and asked him to ship me more- we had a bit of communication error and he shipped green instead of the lilac color I wanted but it all worked out in the end.
