Bad landlords SUCK. I had one when I lived in Moorhead, MN (which is right next to FARGO!) and my fridge broke....one week later I finally get a new one. Plus, my kitchen sink would never drain so I ended up washing most of my dishes in my tub. Gross, eh? Rent wasn't bad, tho. It was right across the street from campus (which usually means really high rent) and it was 900 sq feet with hard wood floors and stained glass....all for only $350/month!

I neeed a griddler!!!

:D

dishes in the tub? that's awful! i would've bought paper plates and deducted them from my rent. haha!

sometimes i miss my tacoma apartment, it was $450 all utilities included! it was really cute and i had the most amazing view of the sound and mt. rainier. too bad my neighbors woke me up every night with loud monster movies and my laundry basket was stolen out of the laundry room and i had to take down my smoke detector and throw it away cos it WOULDN'T stop beeping!

sigh... gotta love renting.

you so need a griddler though! oooooh, i also need to post pics for you of all the crap i got at le crueset this weekend- HELLO 70% off sale!!!! xD

landlords never cease to amaze me.

i didn't really mention it in the post but as our house was such a dump when he bought it, he had to do a bunch of "remodeling". only, he did the shittiest job imaginable! nothing is finished properly and we have telephone wires hanging out of walls, empty outlet boxes that were never finished... oh i could go on and on.

it bugs me so much i ended up fixing some of his "handiwork" myself and had to buy light fixtures for the bedroom and bathroom and replace some doorknobs and paint.... he's lucky i like doing stuff like that!

i want one of those things. in the same way i want a bread and pasta maker and a juicer. les husbou says "we don't have the counter space" and now i'm just going to use "yes but, panini" as my rebuttal!

Ahh. Envy. Friends of ours had a panini press that they didn't want (I know - they're not the brightest of bulbs) and gave it to us. I've been delighted with it, but no more.

that's so cryptic- what happened to it? did the dim-bulbs gain some wattage and demand it back?? ;D

Oh, we still have it.

It's just that I'm not happy with it any more after seeing THE GRIDDLER!*

*Doesn't that sound like a comic-book arch-villain!
