back in may i bought myself a pair of seven jeans for my birthday. i had one pair i'd bought a few years previously that i had to retire after the crotch wore through. so here i am, seven months later, and i just noticed that my "new" jeans now have THREE spots that are worn through on the crotch! dirty jokes aside, i do not engage in activities

i bet they'll take them back. i know someone who accidentally got permanent black marker on some pants (coincidentally, sevens also) she had gotten months previously there, and they let her exchange them for a new pair with no argument! that amazes me.

i have some jeans a crotch hole also, but i can't bear to let them go. tho my hole at least took about 3 years, but i still don't get why THERE, as i'm pretty sedentary and don't go leaping around or straining myself or my clothes. i'm so lazy that sometimes i wear them out anyway, but with boxers for added protection.

i've always heard stories about nordstrom's taking things back even if you ruined the item yourself- the most amazing story i've heard is a woman who bought a white suit there, had it for a year, spilled wine on it and took it back for a full refund. who knows if it's true but there always seem to be other stories similar enough to back it up.

but what is it with crotch wear?? this is a recent problem for me, and it only happens with my 7's. they MUST be shoddy! i think gap is one of the shoddiest brands ever and the crotch on my gap jeans is still intact after 6+ years of wear. the knees are worn through but that's a whole other bushell of apples.
