I'm starting to get busy with the baby. We just started Mother Goose this week so we have that on Mondays from 1:30 - 2:30 pm for 8 or 9 weeks. We still have Calling New Parents to go to. Last week I went to the Tuesday session of Calling New Parents at Cumberland. The topic was Immunization which I wasn't particularly interested in and the group didn't really thrill me that much. Limb HangingTurns out Serenity is a limb hanger. Several times I came into Serenity's room when she woke me up for a feeding to find a leg or a leg and half sticking out between the bars of her crib. So far we have tried 4 different types of diapers - Pampers Swaddlers, Pampers Baby Dry, plain old Huggies, and Huggies Supreme Gentle Care. Huggies Sumpreme Gentle Care are our favourite but Pampers Baby Dry are a close second. Plain old Huggies are ok but they are prone to leaks around the legs. Pampers Swaddlers are just plain evil. Yesterday, Serenity and I went shopping with my mother in law to pick out clothes for me for Christmas. The Sears nursing room was a life saver. Serenity did great in her nice big stroller and when she started getting fussy we headed back to the Sears nursing room for a change and a feed. It was great to have a private place to feed her. My sister-in-law had her baby at 3:30 am today. A 7 lb 4 oz boy.

I was kind of hoping that we'd have our baby first, but no such luck. At least we get to have the first girl. Also, I still had a couple things I wanted to do first. We made it to our last prenatal class tonight and tomorrow work is taking me out for lunch.
